Nothing that has ever experienced by our ancestors is ever forgotten because ultimately everything is energy. All these experiences concerning the specific adaptation like ancestral strategy, struggle, the maneuvering of a tissue, of an organ, body are stored in the genes. Genes are one of the important records of the responses made by our ancestors to the problems they have experienced. They are testimonies to that experience. Let us explain how this works out by an example – Mariam lost her husband when she was twenty four years old. She then got married to another person and had a son with him named Freddie. When Freddie was Eleven months old, Mariam and her husband split up, and Freddie was thereby separated from the girl next door, for whom he cared deeply. He experienced another separation from a girlfriend when he was twenty four years old (the same age his mother had been when she lost her husband). At this time, he began to experience short-term memory problems and to suffer from eczema. Here in this case, Freddie’s eczema was defense mechanism of his inner feeling of self-depreciation and uncertainty about future.
Cellular biologists now recognize that the conditions and occurrences in the external surroundings and internal physiology, and more importantly, our perception of the environment, directly control the activity of our genes. Each cell in the body is capable of producing adrenaline and other stress hormones, and it does so when we experience an external and internal threat that requires a “fight or flight” response. The cell’s health and defensive capabilities are seriously compromised if the threat or stress persists over a period longer than just a few minutes or hours. This kind of stress has become a daily reality for millions of people in today’s world.
Given the fact that all family genetics and histories are different, when confronted with an identical event, the emotional reactions of ten different people would be quite different. For instance, a wife finding out physical relationship of her husband with her best friend. If the emotional response of wife is of betrayal and her first thought is of divorce, she might develop right breast cancer. Some women might be in a situation of un-forgiveness; their body might use colon to develop a tumor. If the emotional response is extreme distress then some women might use the large curve of the stomach as this is an experience they cannot digest. If this horrifies a person and she is not able to believe what she saw, then it might affect her retina. So there will be different reaction of different women in such a situation and all this comes from the fact that family genetics and histories are different.
Each of us inherits specific sensitivities from our ancestors. Every family has extra sensitivity to a certain health issue; there are eczema families, breast cancer families, diabetes families, and list goes on. Let’s get this fact clear that we do not inherit any disease from our ancestors but we inherit specific sensitivities. As a human being, we always have tools available to release what we do not want. We can always come out of this long chain of disease transmitting generations over generations. I strongly recommend ancestral healing therapies to combat hereditary diseases.
